S.C. Vizcarra, a well-known Filipino brand for bags and homeware, participated for the first time in La Boutique Ephémère, a pop-up shop, in Paris, France.

The S.C. Vizcarra stand at the pop-up shop featured various hand-made leather and woven bags in exquisite shapes.  

The brand, which was established in 1925, is known for its fine weaving and embroidery.

“A French lady living in Manila saw my work and said that it would be a good idea to bring these to Paris, so here I am,” said Rita Nazareno, S.C. Vizcarra’s Creative Director.

Pop-up shops are temporary retail spaces that sell merchandise of any kind, from art to fashion. Usually lasting for a few days, these pop-up shops generate a lot of excitement and interest and allow new brands to test the market before deciding to enter.

This edition of La Boutique Ephémère will run from May 23 to 25 at the Galerie Joseph in 7, rue Froissart Paris 75003.
