Secretary-General Loscertales expressed appreciation to the Ambassador and acknowledged the significant strides the Philippines has made in recent years.  He encouraged the Philippines’ participation in BIE activities, including regional consultative meetings to discuss the BIE’s agenda for developing countries.

He recalled that the Philippines won two gold medals during the 2012 Yaesu World Expo.

The BIE is an international organization mandated to register and facilitate the holding of international and World Expos.
